Abriz LLC ("Abriz", "we", "us", or "our"), a Delaware limited liability company, operates the Cue platform at cue.abriz.ai and the website at abriz.ai (together, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our Services.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
- Account information: Name, email address, and password when you create an account
- User content: Scripts, brain dumps, cue cards, recordings, and other content you create within the platform
- Payment information: Billing details processed securely through our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store your full credit card number.
- Communications: Messages you send to us via email or other channels
- Newsletter subscription: Email address when you subscribe to our newsletter
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage data: Features used, scripts created, teleprompter sessions, activity streaks, and general usage patterns
- Device information: Browser type, operating system, and device type
- Analytics: We use Simple Analytics, a privacy-first analytics provider that does not use cookies and does not track personal data
2.3 Information from AI Features
When you use AI-powered features (Ghostwriter, speech analysis, script generation, style rewrite), your input is processed by third-party AI providers to generate results. We do not use your content to train AI models. See Section 6 for details on third-party services.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Services
- Process your AI requests (Ghostwriter, speech analysis, script generation)
- Manage your account, subscriptions, and billing
- Track your usage for plan limits (credits, scripts, recordings, Ghostwriter runs)
- Send you product updates, communication tips, and newsletters (if subscribed)
- Respond to your support requests and communications
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security issues
- Comply with legal obligations
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:
- Service providers: Third-party services that help us operate (hosting, payment processing, email delivery, AI processing). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.
- Team members: If you use team features, your shared scripts and profile information are visible to other members of your organization.
- Legal requirements: When required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
- Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction.
5. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including:
- Encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit
- Secure authentication via Supabase with row-level security
- Ownership verification on all resources
- Rate limiting to prevent abuse
- Regular security reviews
While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to provide the platform:
- Supabase: Database and authentication
- Stripe: Payment processing
- Vercel: Hosting and deployment
- Simple Analytics: Privacy-first website analytics (no cookies, no personal data tracking)
- AI providers: For processing Ghostwriter, speech analysis, and other AI features
Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing its use of your data.
7. Cookies
The Cue platform uses essential cookies and local storage for authentication and user preferences (such as theme settings). We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies. Our analytics provider (Simple Analytics) does not use cookies.
8. Data Retention
We retain your account data and User Content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information and User Content within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes. Anonymized, aggregated data may be retained indefinitely for analytics and service improvement.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Export your data in a portable format
- Opt out of marketing communications
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
